Olivia Weiss is a PhD Candidate at Case Western Reserve University, studying the history of medicine, masculinity, and gender. She received a B.A. in History from Vassar College in 2017, and an M.A. in History from The College of William & Mary in 2019. Her dissertation, “Wrecking Ball: A History of Testicular Cancer as Disruptor of Masculinity, 1906-2026,” specifically looks at how masculinity is complicated and compromised by diagnosis and treatment of testicular cancer.
