GENDER LECTURE SERIES 2026-2027: GENDERED PRECARITIES
The Gender Lecture Series is organized by the Gender Team of the World Trade Institute – Know the GAP!, led by Prof. Elisa Fornalé, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of the University of Bern.
The Gender Lecture Series aims to deepen understanding of the complexity of gender issues by exploring their multiple dimensions at both the international and domestic levels.
The 2026-2027 series focuses on precarity as a broad analytical lens for examining contemporary social, political, and legal challenges. Through an interdisciplinary perspective, the lectures explore how precarity is experienced, produced, and contested across different contexts, highlighting the central role of gender inequalities in shaping contemporary life.
