SHAD: Sexual Harassment Awareness Day
Universities and research institutions working together against sexual harassment. Sexism and sexual harassment are a reality in the world of Swiss university landscape. On 23 March 2023, the first Switzerland-wide Sexual Harassment Awareness Day for a harassment-free university environment was launched.

Swiss LGBTIQ+ Panel
The Swiss LGBTIQ+ Panel is led by Dr. Léïla Eisner (University of Lausanne) and Dr. Tabea Hässler (University of Zurich). It is a longitudinal study assessing the situation of LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, and queer) individuals in Switzerland in an annual manner. Women's session 2021 in the Parliament Building
On 29 and 30 October 2021, Switzerland's second women's session took place in Berne. It brought together 246 women from all regions of Switzerland to discuss their most pressing concerns. The resulting demands were handed over to Parliament and the Federal Council. Two members of IDEAS - Carine Carvalho and Pia Amman - were also present in the Commission for Science, in which three motions were passed. IDEAS supports the Women's Session and its concerns. Professorial Recruitment: Recommendations and Good Practices
Within the framework of the Equal Opportunities 2017-20 Action Plan, the Chamber of universities has adopted recommendations and good practices for university professorships in appointment procedures. IDEAS participated in the elaboration and recommendations in order to achieve equal opportunities and diversity at all universities and national technical universities. Swissuniversities published the document on 14.09.2020. The university of Zurich published an interview with a female professor about this topic.
