Vos problèmes de couple expliqués par la géographie. Genre et espace dans quelques best-sellers
Some best-selling self-help books use geographical arguments to account for differences between men and women. Either through fictional stories or through a neo-Darwinist environmental determinism, they instrumentalise geography to naturalise these real or imagined differences, and make them appear legitimate and unquestionable. Our role as geographers is to challenge such arguments, on the grounds that whatever differences exist are socio-historical constructs.
