Chewing on Post_colonial Switzerland. Redigesting What Has Bot Yet Been Swallowed
This article tells the story, the different stories of a phrase. It is a short and rather simple phrase, easy to grasp, and without major grammatical challenges: "Switzerland has nothing to di with slavery, slave trade and colonialism." The story of this phrase, however, is more complicated. Among other things, it is a story about places and times, and about the ways they relate to each other. It is a story about untold things, and how the naming of their (in)existence makes resistance possible. It is a story about pos-colonial Switzerland.
