The Réseau romand targets the next generation of female researchers. The program is organized in cooperation between the Equal opportunities offices of the Universities of Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel and the EPFL.
The mentoring puts an experienced person in academia (mentor) in contact with a researcher wishing to pursue an scientific career (mentee). In this individual mentoring exchange, the mentor provides references, strategies and useful information to the mentee about the formal and informal rules that govern an academic career.
The Réseau romand of mentoring for women is financially supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF, the partner universities and the EPFL.
