Biography

Dr. Dimitri Simonin is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Neuchâtel.
Dr. Simonin earned his PhD in management from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS Business School, Australia) in 2022. His research focuses on ESG incidents, strategic alliances, and innovation, particularly in blockchain applications. His work investigates how strategic decisions impact organizational governance and responses to crises. His research has been published in international journals, alongside presentations at leading conferences.
Before his PhD, Dr. Simonin gained experience in education, finance, and consulting. After earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) in 2009, he worked as a teaching substitute, a French language instructor in Seoul, and a portfolio advisor at UBS Wealth Management in Geneva. In 2015, he completed a Master of Science in Strategy at the University of Geneva, with a thesis on B2B and B2C sales strategies in the wine e-market. From 2015 to 2017, he was a strategy consultant in Sydney, advising clients on market entry, competitive positioning, and performance optimization—experience that shaped his research in strategic innovation.
