The Gender Campus Blog provides a space for reflections and positions on current debates and strategies, and for presenting research to a wider audience.
The Gender Campus Blog focuses on Gender in all its dimensions: Our guest authors not only present reports on conferences, lectures and workshops but also their current research in the interdisciplinary field of gender studies. The blog highlights diversity and equality policy at Swiss universities and facilitates an interdisciplinary approach among academics, experts and practitioners. In addition, authors can share their perspective on current debates in the media and elsewhere from an academic point of view. Thus, the blog brings theoretical and practical works in the field of gender, equality and diversity into discussion and makes them publicly accessible. Last but not least it is a manifestation of the social and academic potential of gender studies in and outside of Swiss higher education institutions.
The blog is edited by the Gender Campus team, consisting of the strategic project directors and the editorial staff.
We are currently publishing contributions in the following areas:
- Analyses: A window into contemporary and interdisciplinary Gender Studies
- Debates: Statements and observations concerning Gender in the public eye
- In/Equalities: Reflexions and reports concerning Diversity and Equality
We warmly invite you to submit texts or suggest authors for our blog. We encourage discussions on all our blog posts. This is why you have the possibility to write replies to posts, which are moderated by the editorial staff before publication.
We are looking forward to exciting discussions and illuminating insights
