Same Same Reading Circle (Sama سماء सम 様)

Same Same Reading Circle (Sama سماء सम 様) gathers to read and discuss inter-Asian theories and writings. In a nod to interwoven and frayed histories between Asian diasporas in Berlin and beyond, we seek to foster connections through collective reading. Led by Inter-Asian Berlin and their collaborators, these conversations engage with understandings of “inter-Asia” within Berlin’s context.

Our first session is hosted by Wassan Ali and Julianne Chua. We warmly invite you to discuss the introductory chapter of the essay collection Queer Asia with us.
