We develop practical solutions to coping with social problems and social challenges. We offer basic and further training, research and development, and a wide range of services.

With 1600 students and 1000 further education students, the FHNW School of Social Work is one of the largest providers of social work education in Switzerland.

We have around 240 teaching staff, research associates, administrative and technical staff, and university centre staff.
