Claude Raisaro joined the Geneva Graduate Institute as Assistant Professor in Development Microeconomics affiliated to the Department of International Economics and the Center for Finance and Development in September 2024 after completing his PhD at the University of Zurich

He works at the intersection of development and behavioral economics. His research focuses on how social norms influence organizations and the functioning of markets. Additionally, he works on the economics of education and inequality. He uses field experiments and observational data to address these topics. 

Claude Raisaro is also affiliated with the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets at Stockholm School of Economics.
