The colloquium is aimed at an informed academic and personal exchange. Discussions of published texts by other authors or works-in-progress written by colloquium members, are welcomed. We seek to discuss and disseminate work that takes up and advances feminist interventions of a wide variety, including feminist/trans/queer theories, intersectional theories, postcolonial/decolonial theories, posthumanist work, ecofeminist theories among a host of other studies of inequality. The overarching aim is to meet, create relationships with fellow academics, through reading each other’s’ (as well as other academics’) works and making sense of it for ourselves and our research. This activity is made meaningful when we do it together and share not only our academic ideas, but ourselves and our lived experiences.
The remaining dates, each from 2:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., are:
- October 14 (Collective Reading Session)
- November 11 (with Dr. Muneeb Ul Lateef Banday and Dr. Anukriti Dixit, both IZFG)
- November 25 (with Dr. Andrea Zimmermann, IZFG).
