Student Wellbeing - A Shared Responsibility of the University and its Students
Conference for higher education professionals and students
Since the pandemic at the latest, we know that students’ academic success is closely linked to their wellbeing. Higher education institutions are increasingly called upon to foster inclusive and equitable learning environments that support students’ mental health, resilience, and sense of social safety. At the same time, student-led initiatives that cultivate mutual support and community play a crucial role in promoting wellbeing and academic success.
The conference will explore how student wellbeing can be effectively supported in practice as a shared responsibility between higher education institutions and students. The focus lies on how universities can develop impactful support services while simultaneously strengthening student initiatives and connecting them meaningfully to institutional support structures. Which forms of collaboration have proven successful? And which future-oriented developments are emerging in this field?
