The lecture deals with discourses and practices of dissent across Asian and Middle Eastern regions and socio-cultural formations in different historical periods. In bringing together representative case-studies and theoretical considerations the lectures offer insights in the articulation, representation and practices of coping with dissent and its repercussions.
