Carolin Schurr is Professor for Social and Cultural Geography at the University of Bern. As a feminist geographer, she investigates how processes of globalization affect intimate life. As professor mommy she tries to juggle academic work and childcare, revealing gender inequalities in academia through publications and fighting on a political level for the recognition of care work. Recent publication: Who Makes Geographical Knowledge? The Gender of Geography’s Gatekeepers.
