The Swiss Association for Gender Studies (SAGS) is a scientific organization. Our aim is to promote gender studies in Switzerland and to represent its interests in Swiss higher education. SAGS also offers a forum for exchange and networking. Our aim is to promote gender studies as an innovative field of research in Swiss academia.
As a scientific organization, SAGS organizes a conference every two years as well as other international conferences and events with local and international participants from the field of gender studies. The SAGS attaches particular importance to exchanges with research networks in German and French-speaking countries.
