The Swiss Association for Gender Studies (SAGS) is a scientific organization. Our aim is to promote gender studies in Switzerland and to represent its interests in Swiss higher education. SAGS also offers a forum for exchange and networking.
The SAGS supports the women*strike on June 14, 2019
Research shows that the multidimensional category of gender continues to (re)produce inequality and discrimination in all areas of society, including higher education. The Women*Strike is important because it specifically addresses these grievances, brings them from the various fields to the general public and thus makes an important contribution to combating them.
