Miriam Cahn is a leading figure in the art of her generation. Especially her convincing presentations at documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel (2017) unequivocally evidence how relevant her work is in today's world. This alone is reason enough to call to mind her uncompromising, radical artistic stance also in Switzerland. In a comprehensive exhibition comprising an overview of her work that features the key phases of her artistic career, the Swiss artist is showing pulsating works on paper, intoxicatingly colourful oil paintings, monumental sculptures, performative videos, and sketch albums – that have never been on public view before – in a unique chronology and thematically expansive installation.
Exhibition organized by Kunstmuseum Bern, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and Haus der Kunst in Munich.
