Diversity and equal opportunities FHNW

Diversity is a key asset at the FHNW. The FHNW uses the diversity of and differences between its students and staff as regards their abilities, experience, lives and backgrounds to help it develop as an organisation and as a resource for innovation. The diversity of the FHNW and its disciplines makes it an attractive partner for companies and organisations from industry, business, culture and society.

The FHNW promotes the equality of men and women and a balance between study, work and home life. It aims to achieve a balance in the proportion of women holding senior positions and foster a shared culture of diversity. Equal opportunities regarding age, disability, gender, background, religion, ideology and sexual orientation are enabled as part of the management process and promoted by means of specific projects.
