Die Mitgliederversammlung findet am 5. November 2020 von 16.30 - 18.00 Uhr an der Universität Neuchâtel statt. Im Anschluss daran lädt die SGGF zu einem öffentlichen Roundtable ein:
"Shared memories of equality movements - an intergenerational dialogue"
In view of the 50 year anniversary of women's suffrage in Switzerland in 2021 and the 2nd women's strike in 2019, this roundtable convenes different generations of women* who were and are involved in the (queer) feminist equality movement and other emancipatory projects. We will ask the discussants about the significance of the different emancipatory movements in Switzerland, their commonalities and differences: What were the panelists’ central experiences, problems and goals? What do they believe has been achieved and what are the next urgent issues? In addition, we will ask about what was historically specific to past projects, and what is different today. What is the significance of political, academic and biographical knowledge? How does it feel to be part of a movement, a collective? What does their cooperation entail? And finally, what do we learn from each other? How could a broader, intergenerational, collective or shared memory of the history of movements and experiences be gained?
Roundtable guests: Persons from the academy, politics and culture who are or have been involved in (queer) feminist movements at different stages, of different ages, Suisse Romande / Ticino and German-speaking Switzerland.
Moderation: Dominique Grisard
Ort: Universität Neuchâtel (oder online)
Zeit: 18.15 - 20.00 Uhr, anschliessend findet ein Apéro riche statt
