The tool of sponsoring as a key to more equality in academia

Academic sponsorship as a key to more equality in academia

You’ve heard of academic mentorship, but what about academic sponsorship? Sponsorship is a career development concept that is used successfully in business. Can it also be used meaningfully in academia?

Join this event at UZH organized by the H.I.T. Program together with the Divmed-Project to learn more about the academic sponsorship. We will explore this in a keynote by Prof. Dr. Heather Hofmeister and a panel discussion in which women professors from various disciplines and universities will discuss the utility and feasibility of this concept.
