Support Open Access Books in Gender Studies

Knowledge Unlatched (KU), the central platform for Open Access financing models, is working with Routledge to make about 150 book titles in Gender Studies freely available Open Access over the next three years.

This means that researchers can publish Open Access books free of any charges and anyone in the world can access the content for free. This enables the widest possible online dissemination for researchers and thereby also serves communities which otherwise would not have had access to the content. To find out more about the Routledge Gender Studies Collection see our website.

Both KU and RINGS believe in the importance of providing, without barriers to any reader in the world, academic research that expands the visibility of Gender Studies as a crucial ally for building a more egalitarian and inclusive society.

We would greatly appreciate your support by making your library aware of the opportunity to participate in this important initiative. Please feel free share to KU’s information page with your librarian. Alternatively if you are able to introduce Catherine Anderson to your librarian it would be most appreciated.
