Survey - Gender Equality in Tertiary STEM Programs

You are being invited to participate in a research study gender equality in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. This research project is being conducted by Gabrielle Thibeault-Orsi, a master’s student in Educational Policy at the University of Toronto. The objective of this research project is to attempt to understand how students perceive and feel about gender equality in their STEM programs. It is a cross-national study throughout Western European and Sub-Saharan African countries. The survey is being given to both men and women that are in their full-time undergraduate or graduate programs.

The inclusion criteria for participants are:

  • University students currently enrolled in a physical sciences, engineering, or natural sciences programs in the following countries: Belgium, Botswana, Cameroon, England, Finland, France, Ghana, Ireland, Ivory Coast, Malawi, Madagascar, Nigeria, Norway, Scotland, Senegal, Seychelles, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Togo, Uganda
  • Participants must be over 18 years of age and able to provide consent.
  • Must understand English and/or French
