Call for papers for a special series of articles on gender inequality

The journal Economie et Statistique / Economics and Statistics will devote a series of articles to gender inequality.

There are no restrictions on topics. Examples of possible topics include:

• employment, unemployment, entrepreneurship;
• wages and labour income;
• working time, working conditions, labor relations, telework;
• family life and professional life balance, career trajectories;
• wealth;
• ageing, retirement, health;
• educational attainment and field choices;
• housing, residential mobility.

This list is not exhaustive. For each topic, the journal welcomes original contributions as well as reviews of the academic literature. Submissions are expected until the 31st of March 2026. Interested authors are invited to send their manuscripts to the journal’s editorial office: redaction-ecostat insee fr. These will be subject to the journal's usual review process. Accepted papers may be published online in advance of their inclusion in an issue, as part of thematic sections.

Accepted articles are published simultaneously in French and English in the digital edition.
