The Swiss International Summer Schools in Gender Studies are organized and financed by the Swiss Gender Studies Universities Network (universities of Basel, Bern, Fribourg, Geneva & IHEID, Lausanne, Lucerne, Neuchâtel, St. Gall and Zurich). The 2012 edition of the Summer School is jointly organised by the Gender Studies Centres of the universities of Geneva and Lausanne.
