The Institute of Gender in Medicine (GIM), Charité-Universitätsmedizin, in Berlin invites professionals and students to apply for the Master Module “Gender Medicine”.

The aim of this module “Gender Medicine 2012” is to impart knowledge and increase awareness in this novel and important field of medicine. Internationally renowned experts of Gender Medicine provide comprehensive knowledge on sex and gender specific aspects in seven medical disciplines related to clinical and public health issues and relevant aspects for medical therapy in one short course.

To optimise the learning success we offer a “blended learning“ teaching concept with 32 hours attendance time divided in lectures and seminars, 60 hours self-organized learning with mentoring and the aim to make up a written exam (Take Home Exam) as well as the opportunity to use “e-learning course” material.

Der weiterbildende, interdisziplinäre, anwendungsorientierte Masterstudiengang "Gender & Diversity-Kompetenz" wird ab Herbst 2011 in vier Semestern angeboten und mit einem Master of Arts abgeschlossen. Er kann berufsbegleitend studiert werden. Beteiligt sind die Fachbereiche
Politik- und Sozialwissenschaften, Rechtswissenschaft und Wirtschaftswissenschaft. Unterrichtet wird in der Zeitschiene 16-20 h
(werktags) und Freitag/Samstag (Blockunterricht).

Unterrichtet werden die drei Studienbereiche  Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen, Berufspraxis und Praxisperspektiven sowie Qualifizierung und Training in insgesamt 10 Modulen. Transferkompetenz, Theorie- und Praxisbezug sowie der Austausch zwischen Dozierenden und externen Expert/innen, die in Veranstaltungen eingebunden werden, sind wesentliche Merkmale des Studienangebots.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer l'ouverture d'une Spécialité de Mastère (recherche) en "Genre et développement", à l'université de Paris Diderot, dans le cadre du Mastère « Sociologie et anthropologie : politique, culture et migrations ».
Il s’agit d’un projet en partenariat avec l’IHEID (Genève) et l’IED (Louvain), ainsi que l’IEDES (Paris 1) et le Laboratoire de dynamiques rurales (Toulouse le Mirail), l’ISS (La Haye) et le Kit (Amsterdam) notamment.
 
Il s’agit d’une spécialité de Mastère recherche, destiné à apporter des éléments d’analyse critique sur le développement comme sur le genre, en incluant les perspectives les plus récentes dans le domaine (notamment les Théories de l’imbrication des rapports sociaux de sexe, « race », classe et les Etudes subalternes).

This course provides an introduction to the emergence of contemporary intersectional gender, sexuality and ethnicity studies, Policy and politics. This includes their historical roots in feminist, queer and anti-racist theory and activism. The course also provides information about intersectional gender, sexuality and ethnicity studies and politics, based on introductions to gender studies and related fi elds such as postcolonial studies, critical sexuality studies and queer studies. Based at the dynamic, interdisciplinary Department of Thematic Studies (Gender studies), Linköping University, Sweden, and taught in English, this distance course uses a mixture of web-based teaching and face to face meetings.
